US Shot Peening and Blast Cleaning Workshop
The Annual Shot Peening and Blast Cleaning Workshop is three days of information on all aspects of shot peening and blast cleaning processes. Held in different city every year, the US Workshop is the largest shot peening training event in the world.  Industry professionals offer expertise in their specific field and world-class companies exhibit shot peening and blast cleaning products and services. It's also an invaluable opportunity to meet with your peers and industry professionals from around the world. International Shot Peening Workshops
Every year EI holds multiple Shot Peening Workshops around the globe.  Each consists of two or three days of intensive instruction on all aspects of the shot peening process. Product design engineers, machine operators, foremen, supervisors, maintenance and quality engineers will benefit from the workshop. International workshops are offered annually in Mexico, Europe, Canada, China and Singapore.

On-Site Training & Certification
The Shot Peening and Flapper Peening Technologist Certification Programs, conducted on the customer's premises, include two days of classroom instruction and shop practice. Our on-site training covers the basics of the Shot Peening Achievement Program as well as on site shop training and facilities evaluation (click on "On-Site Training and Certification" for more information on the Shot Peening Achievement Program). The instructors will specifically review an organization's ability to meet any particular procedure or specification with special emphasis on equipment capability. Certificates of Proficiency are awarded to those demonstrating shop practice competence and passing a written examination.

FAA-Approved Inspector Training
Electronics Inc. (EI) training is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as meeting training requirements for FAA employees who audit shot peening processes. EI training programs, including the annual Shot Peening / Blast Cleaning Workshop and a specialized two-day on-site program of classroom instruction and shop proficiency demonstrations, were developed specifically for FAA inspectors and are FAA approved. Attendees that pass the review and competency test at the end of the program will receive credit toward their yearly FAA training requirement.

Achievement Program (Level 1, 2, 3 and Flapper Workshop Exams and Certificates)
The Shot Peening Achievement Program is presented by Electronics Incorporated Education Division to introduce shot peening fundamentals and recognize individual professional development. An achievement certificate is awarded to those individuals who attend the Shot Peening Workshop and demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of shot peening by completing and passing examinations held in conjunction with the workshop. Three levels of achievement examinations are offered.

PRI (Performance Review Institute) Partner in Education
Electronics Incorporated Education Division is a Performance Review Institute (PRI) Partner in Education. (PRI is the SAE organization that conducts Nadcap audits.) This agreement solidifies a long and successful relationship between the two organizations that began when the EI staff trained Nadcap/PRI auditors in shot peening processes. Future outcomes of the relationship will be the hosting of educational seminars and audit preparation training for Nadcap suppliers, the sharing of Nadcap information in EI's magazine (The Shot Peener), and ongoing training and workshops for PRI staff.
