US Shot Peening and Blast Cleaning Workshop

Registration/Enrollment: Course enrollment is limited. Group discounts are available as indicated when Registering. Advance registration is required to insure that adequate educational supplies, meals and refreshments are available. If you can not register in advance, please email us or call us and let us know you're coming.
Workshop Fee:
$800* USD (1 attendee/company)
$700* USD (2-3** or more attendees/company)
$600* USD (4** or more attendees/company)
Fee includes: Workbook, breakfast, break refreshments and lunch.
Fee does not include: Transportation, lodging, parking, and other meals.

Attire: Casual attire is acceptable.
Language: The workshop will be conducted in English.
Refunds and Cancellations: If you cancel your registration, you will be charged a $50 USD administrative fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and received at least seven (7) working days prior to the start of the workshop. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the workshop or "no shows" will be liable for the full fee. Enrollment substitutions may be made at any time.
Arrival & Location: The workshop and trade show will be held at the Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. Lombard is a western suburb of the city of Chicago. It's located just 21 miles west of downtown Chicago and 16 miles from O'Hare International Airport.
Workshop check-in for students will take place Monday, October 8th, from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Upon check-in you will be issued a ID which will be required for entrance to classes, lunches and breaks. Your classroom materials will be given to you at this time along with classroom location and schedule information.
Shot Peening Exams: Optional exams are given to qualified students at the conclusion of classes on October 11, 2012. A "Certificate of Achievement" is awarded to the student upon successful completion of an exam. The exam certificate serves as documentation that a participant was presented and has retained knowledge of the respective exam. Each level of training combined with the appropriate exam is recognized as 8 hours of training toward the FAA's IA and AMT programs. Exam levels include Shot Peening Levels 1, 2, 3, and Flapper Peening. The cost of each exam is $100 USD. See Achievement Program page for more details.
Note: Multiple exams can be taken at one workshop, however, time limitations allow limited combinations. These combinations can be selected when registering.
Recognition: Students not taking an exam will be mailed a "Certificate of Attendance". This certificate serves as documentation that the participant was registered and checked into the workshop. This certificate does not qualify for FAA award programs.
