Flapper Peening Products

Flapper peening (also called "roto-peening") is a shot peening process that's ideal for peening in small and hard-to-reach areas. Flapper peening, first developed by 3M Corporation in the 1960s for U.S. Army helicopter field repair during the Vietnam war, is widely used in the aerospace industry today. Flapper Peening Training is available from Electronics Inc.

Flapper Peening products can be purchased invidually or as a kit. Our flapper peening kits provide a convenient method of small area local repair without the need for a blast cabinet. The basic kit includes the unique components to conduct precision peening according to the highest military standards.
