Flapper Peening Products
Flapper peening (also called "roto-peening") was first developed by 3M Corporation in the 1960s for U.S. Army helicopter field repair during the Vietnam war. Flapper peening is widely used in the aerospace industry today because it's ideal for peening small areas on new or repaired parts. Flapper peening can also be done in the field, making the time-consuming and expensive disassembly and transportation of components unnecessary. Flapper Peening Training is available from Electronics Inc.
Flapper Peening products can be purchased invidually or as a kit. Our flapper peening kits provide a convenient method of small area local repair without the need for a blast cabinet. The basic kit includes the unique components to conduct precision peening according to the highest military standards.
